With three more days of this term before we break for Christmas, we are looking forward to festive events next week including Christmas lunch (and nonuniform day), our school nativity performance and a visit from a special visitor on the final morning of term too.

With only one and a half weeks to go until the end of the Autumn term, Foulsham Primary School is alive with a continuation of lots of learning mixed in with the fun of nativity preparations too.

December has arrived and so too winter it seems! It is lovely to see children dressed in warm winter coats and with changes of footwear (and socks) to ensure they don't have cold, wet feet after having fun on our extensive field

This week we have enjoyed welcoming more prospective parents and children into the school for our September-school-starters Open Morning.

Friday has arrived again! We have been thrilled to welcome Mr Lord to school this week, whose role within Synergy Mutli Academy Trust is to oversee all of the primary schools.

Although this has been a dull, wet autumn week weather wise, life at Foulsham primary has definitely not been dull: the week has been packed full of learning and smiles.

I can't quite believe that half term has arrived already! I am sure that the children are ready for a more restful week which will help them to return to school on Monday 30th October refreshed ready for another half term full of fun and learning.

We have reached the end of a slightly different week this week with Jaguar class enjoying a fabulous 5-day visit to the Peak District.

It was lovely to see Turtle and Penguin classes heading out in their wellington boots yesterday for a day at Foxley Woods. I expect they slept very well after a day full of activities in the fresh air!

This week it feels as if everyone is fully back into the routine of school; our new Reception children seem settled, and it feels as if they have always been with us!

Friday has arrived again and maybe Autumn has arrived also this week! The children continue to impress me with the start they have each made to this new school year.
