We have high expectations of all of our pupils which put a value on learning at all times of the day.
School should be a calm place where children and adults feel comfortable and safe learning, and where clear boundaries mean children know what is expected of them at all times.
Broadly, our expectations of students are that:
- When in lessons children value their learning time and behave in a way which is respectful of this and the other children’s right to this. We also expect children to be respectful of all adults and to take pride in themselves and their school.
- In and around the school children are expected to be respectful of the learning environment they are in and to be calm and courteous at all times.
- At break and lunch they are expected to be safe at all times and to play and in a way which means everyone can enjoy their time away from lessons.
